Hi, I'm Danielle
Easy, healthier dinners for family and friends, cooked in a real kitchen with a toddler underfoot.
Why The Shared Crumb?
I've always been the one cooking for family and friends. To me, food is meant to be shared, whether that's a quick weeknight dinner at home or a dumpling night with a kitchen full of people. That's where the name comes from.
After I had my baby, I wanted to change a few things. I wanted to get healthier, save money, and pay closer attention to what I was actually putting into my body. Cooking at home more turned out to be the answer to all three.
These are the recipes that made the cut: easy, healthier dinners that don't cost much and are good enough to share. Every recipe is something I cook at home, and my toddler is my toughest critic. Toddler-friendly recipes and tips are on the way, too.
Easy & Healthier
Simple weeknight dinners made with real ingredients from any grocery store. Most are on the table in 45 minutes or less.
Budget-Friendly
Cooking at home saves real money. Most of my recipes use everyday ingredients and cheaper proteins, and I save the splurges for dishes that are worth it.
Made to Share
Recipes I've cooked for the people I love. If a dish isn't worth sharing, it doesn't go on the site.
